Our Lecture Theatres are venues that cannot be changed, where as all of our flat venues can be set up to suit your requirements.

The Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge can cater for breakfasts, lunch and dinner buffets, cocktail parties and product launches in one of our many function venues or restaurants. Alternatively the Hotel offers meals in Stonebreakers' self-service Restaurant and the a la carte Time-Out Café.

Parking
Secure parking is available for all conference delegates on a first come first served basis.
UCT does not accept or take responsibility for the safe custody of any vehicles or articles herein, nor for any damage to the vehicles or articles, howsoever caused, nor for any injuries to any person. All cars are left in all respects entirely at their owner’s risk

Food & Beverage Service
The Hotel is fully licensed. If wine is brought to a function, a corkage fee of R19.00 per bottle will be charged. No other alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the premises. An 10% service fee on breakfasts/lunches/dinners/cocktails will be charged on the final food and beverage account.
